The Kardashian dating history with NBA players goes way back, and it’s no news to hear that a member of the family is dating a professional basketball player. Recently, a rumor started to revolve around the internet about Paxson Wojcik and Kylie Jenner dating.
Paxson Wojcik is a shooting guard from North Carolina. Just when the dating rumors were gaining momentum, it seems things are not quite swooning on either sides.
Paxton Wojcik dispels Kylie Jenner dating rumour
The UNC guard, Wojcik, was under the impression that Kylie Jenner was interested in his social media presence. This was revealed via a reporter who directly mentioned Jenner’s name, which later turned out to be a joke by Wojcik’s teammates after he made a deal with the Skims brand.
Sources from Jenner’s side told TMZ that there was no contact from her side, and after that came into the limelight, Wojcik found himself in an awkward position.
When questioned after a recent game, Wojcik implied that he could not answer the question, but did so in a very ‘tongue in the cheek’ manner, per TMZ.
The stunt was not the best idea, as it linked Wojcik and Jenner both in a rumored dating scenario, which led to some dramatic scenario involving the Kardashian sisters.
Paxson Wojcik’s link with Kim Kardashian
Wojcik’s recent Instagram post showed him in black attire, which was different from his usual basketball content, making it quite evident to the fans that it was a sponsorship post as he has signed a deal with Skims, a brand founded by Kim Kardashian.
In the caption, Wojcik wrote, Â “@kimkardashian (heart emoji)”
The Skims Instagram page also features media showing Wojcik and even Kim Kardashian’s Instagram page, where she posted a picture of Slam Magazine’s cover featuring Wojcik alongside five other players, including Arizona’s Caleb Love, Duke’s Jared McCain, Kentucky’s Rob Dillingham, Kansas’ Hunter Dickinson, and Connecticut’s Donovan Clingan, all of whom signed deals with Skims.
Wojcik was approached with a Skims pitch by TJÂ Beisner, who is the lead of NIL at UNC, as the sponsors liked his look. His awareness about the brand was there and after learning about the fact that they make men’s clothing as well, he was in.
Wojcik said, “It’s definitely an opportunity that I was excited about once it was presented, and I’m not going to turn it down, but it was the first time I had done any sort of fashion industry photoshoot.”
With everything that happened on social media regarding the rumor, Wojcik deeply regrets dragging the supermodel’s name into a joke and had no intentions of harming anybody.
