The quarterback shuffle is still going on this offseason, but one name that doesn’t seem to be moving anytime soon is Falcons QB Kirk Cousins. However, out of nowhere, social media detectives are convinced they’ve figured out his next team.
Why? Because he was spotted at a local Chipotle, and now rumors say he could be headed to the Cleveland Browns.
As a free agent in 2024, Kirk Cousins got a huge deal worth $180 million over four years, with $100 million guaranteed. But after the Falcons benched Cousins in favor of first-round QB Michael Penix Jr. at the end of last season, many thought Atlanta would move on from him this offseason.
The people in charge of the team kept saying they were fine with keeping Cousins and would try to trade him instead of cutting him. Marc Raimondi of ESPN recently said that the most likely outcome was Cousins staying in Atlanta until 2025.

But now, social media detectives are convinced he’s headed to the Cleveland Browns. Why? Cuz Cousins was seen at a Chipotle in Westlake, Ohio, which is only 16 miles from Cleveland and 19 miles from Huntington Bank Field.

Recently, Cousins visited the White House, and a photo of him with Trump went viral on Twitter. In the picture, Trump appeared noticeably shorter than the Falcons’ quarterback.
Cousins looked at least two inches taller than Trump, sparking online discussions. Given Trump’s false height claim, social media users quickly began making fun of him, sharing their reactions and memes about the discrepancy.
