WrestleMania 39 not only has the fans excited but the entire WWE Universe and professionals are showing their delight too. Former WWE star Kurt Angle has decided to speak on arguably the biggest fight of the event even though his former rival ‘The Rock’ may not be making an appearance.
The cream of the crop, the talk of the town matchup has of course been Cody Rhodes vs Roman Reigns. Many fans have grown tired at this point of the long 880-day title reign of ‘The Tribal Cheif’ and for a fan favorite like the ‘American Nightmare’ to dethrone the long-time champion would only add to the payoff.
Kurt Angle also had his two cents on the matter, “Without a doubt, I think those matches are going to be really, really good. You know, Cody Rhodes. I’m expecting him to win this thing. I think it’s his time and Rhea Ripley, I wouldn’t doubt if she won it, too. She’s been up and coming. She’s been pretty strong lately. So, you never know.”
Similar sentiments are shared by another WWE star Corey Graves, ”We know we’re going to see some superstars show up that maybe we haven’t seen in a while or thought we’d never see before. Now the fact that Cody Rhodes is in The Royal Rumble automatically puts him in the top three, maybe five favorites to win the thing. Period.”
Why is WrestleMania 39 so significant?
Roman Reigns was once just another wrestler trying to climb the ladder and become the champion. Unfortunately, fans did not take very gladly to his rise and he became a much-debated character among the spectators. But once he became the undisputed heavyweight champion, something changed in him.
He began to adopt nefarious means to defeat his rivals often seeking the aid of the Bloodline and the Usos. Which is why it will be more significant if Cody manages to win the title.
