LA Knight Talks Acting Ambitions, Wants to Share Screen with Sydney Sweeney

WWE stars often move to Hollywood as part of their careers, and former US Champion LA Knight might be following that path too. Recently, he shared his acting dreams and said he’s excited about the idea of working with Sydney Sweeney.

With WWE teaming up with Netflix in a $5 billion deal to stream Monday Night Raw for the next decade, fans are excited about possible crossovers. This partnership could make it easier for WWE stars to work on Netflix movies or series. LA Knight, who has appeared on shows like ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ and ‘The Hero,’ shared his thoughts on this opportunity.

In an interview with ‘Metro,’ Knight expressed interest in acting, saying he’d like to start with action-drama projects like a mini-series or a small movie. When asked who he’d like to work with, Knight smiled and praised her talent and versatility.

The former US champion said, “Sydney Sweeney. For me, like acting is not an end all, be all. But if the opportunity presents itself, I won’t say no!” Knight is particularly interested in an action-drama spin-off on the streaming platform, and he believes Sweeney would be the perfect co-star

LA Knight’s second attempt at WWE US title ends in defeat

LA Knight’s second chance at the WWE United States Championship ended in disappointment as he lost to Shinsuke Nakamura on SmackDown on January 10. The match started in the second hour, with Knight getting loud support from the Portland crowd.

Nakamura held control during the commercial break, but Knight bounced back with a top-rope bulldog when the show returned. After a series of finishers, including Nakamura’s Kinshasa, Knight barely escaped the pin by reaching the ropes.

The match got even more chaotic with interference from The Bloodline, and Jimmy Uso, along with Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, added pressure, making Knight’s path to victory even tougher.
