Lakers’ LeBron James achieves NBA Playoff milestone surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for most 2-pointers with Suns Kevin Durant the closest active player

LeBron James, the superstar of the Los Angeles Lakers, achieved an incredible NBA Playoff milestone during Monday evening’s Game 4 matchup against the Golden State Warriors.

He passed Hall of Famer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the most two-pointers made in playoff history with his first two-pointer of the night. The 19-time All-Star now holds the record for most two-pointers with 2,357 and counting, with Suns forward Kevin Durant being the closest active player behind him.

This season, James has surpassed Abdul-Jabbar on several all-time lists, including the all-time Playoff rebounding list during Game 3 of this series and the all-time scoring list during the regular season.

Despite being in his 20th season in the league, James is still considered one of the ten best players, finishing the regular season with remarkable averages of 28.9 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 6.8 assists per contest while shooting an impressive 50.0% from the field.

The Lakers, seeded seventh in the Western Conference, have been performing well in the playoffs, defeating the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round in six games and currently leading the defending NBA Champion Warriors 2-1.

If they win the series, they will advance to the Western Conference Finals and face off against the Denver Nuggets or the Phoenix Suns. Game 5 of this series will take place on Wednesday evening at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

LeBron James Leads Lakers to 3-1 Series Lead over Warriors in Western Conference Semifinals

In a thrilling game that saw both teams trade leads down the stretch, King James and the Los Angeles Lakers emerged victorious against the Golden State Warriors, 104-101, in Game 4 of the Western Conference semifinals.

Despite facing a 12-point deficit in the third quarter, James led the Lakers’ comeback charge, finishing with 27 points, nine rebounds, and six assists. He hit timely shots and crucial free throws to keep the Lakers afloat in a closely contested game. Anthony Davis also played a pivotal role, contributing 23 points and 15 rebounds, while Lonnie Walker IV provided a spark off the bench, scoring all his 15 points in the fourth quarter.

On the other end of the court, Warriors’ superstar Steph Curry had a triple-double with 31 points, 14 assists, and 10 rebounds. However, he struggled from the field, shooting just 12-for-30. In the final moments of the game, Davis came up with a crucial defensive stop on Curry, contesting a mid-range jumper and forcing a miss with 26.7 seconds left. Davis also made a steal with nine seconds remaining to seal the win for the Lakers.

With this victory, the Lakers now hold a commanding 3-1 lead in the series and are just one win away from advancing to the Western Conference Finals. James’ leadership and clutch performances have been instrumental in the Lakers’ playoff success, and he continues to prove why he is one of the greatest players of all time.
