The Los Angeles Lakers have qualified for their cherished playoff phase, and after beating the Minnesota Timberwolves, they are set to face the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round of the playoffs.
The Lakers clinched a hard-earned victory against the Timberwolves in an overtime thriller at Crypto.com Arena. Superstar LeBron James shone brighter once again, scoring 30 points with 10 rebounds and six assists to keep their dream afloat.
While making a miraculous comeback in the later stages of the regular season, Lebron is finally approaching to keep his promise. In a press conference, he expressed his feelings about facing the Grizzlies.
What did LeBron James say about the game vs. Grizzlies?
The 38-year-old forward had high praise of the second-seeded team in the Western Conference, and it was clear in his voice. “Really good team, very well coached, very well balanced, obviously the head of the snake is Ja Morant.”
However, the four-time NBA champion knows better than to only think about Morant, as he continued to praise the whole Grizzlies roster and their contribution to reaching this level. “You can’t disrespect any of them,” he added.

However, the matchup will be competitive, as it has been in the last three games between them; the Lakers managed to win two of them. The Grizzlies, on the other hand, are confident as, in the last season, they defeated the Wolves in the first round of the playoffs.
