The NFL world continues to buzz with excitement as the Lamar Jackson trade saga marches on, reporting multiple teams are vying for the services of the star quarterback, even as the Baltimore Ravens weigh their options.
Earlier Jackson was slapped with the non-exclusive tag worth $32.4 million in the off-season, allowing him to have a say in trade talks. Jackson is now open to discussing with other teams to finalize a suitable deal and the Ravens can decide to match the deal to retain him or trade him to other teams.
Did Lamar Jackson point out heading to a new team?
Amid several trade rumors, the ace QB declared to air a special interview very soon, coming on his Lamar Jackson Entertainment YouTube page.
A Twitter user predicted Jackson would announce a five-year contract extension in the comments, and the former MVP quarterback left suspense by responding with a rocket ship emoji to that. The original release date of the interview is still unknown, yet it is going to add fuel to the flames as Jackson might end up disclosing some information about his contract. Many fans claim it to be a hint for landing at a new destination.

The dual-threat quarterback has strongly opined earlier to be paid like a true star in the league. ESPN’s Jamison Hensley, Baltimore was only interested in a long-term extension, albeit Jackson wanted a fully guaranteed contract, leading the franchise to choose the non-exclusive tag.
Will Jackson end up with the Vikings or the Indianapolis Colts?
ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler revealed the possibility of Jackson signing a contract with the Titans on a recent episode of Sportscenter.
“And then when you talk about good fits, I asked some executives around the league what teams would make sense. They mention Tennessee, who just cleared some cap space. They have a new GM Ran Carthon, who’s working on the roster. They could use a running quarterback [and] they have experience with that in the past.” Fowler stated.
ESPN’s Stephen Holder ruled out the possibility of the Colts putting together an offer for Jackson.
“Indianapolis did not rule out having discussions with Jackson, according to a team source. However, the club has not taken any substantive steps regarding Jackson and it is unclear whether it intends to do so. Team sources have expressed skepticism about pursuing Jackson.”- he stated.
As the trade rumors continue to swirl, fans and analysts alike will be watching closely whether the Ravens will ultimately decide to part ways with their star quarterback or whether Jackson ultimately stays in the franchise.
