Latest Goldberg Match Update Disappoints CM Punk’s Fans Online

Recent reports confirm that the upcoming Survivor Series WarGames will almost certainly feature Gunther and Goldberg’s match. Their rivalry heated up at the Bad Blood event, and WWE plans to build on this storyline at the Crown Jewel event.

However, before the Goldberg drama, it was announced that CM Punk would be competing for the Heavyweight championship at the Survivor Series. With all this storyline confusion, Sin City Saints fans are feeling frustrated with WWE’s recent decisions.

Goldberg and Gunther’s storyline kicked off recently at Bad Blood. Before that, CM Punk, following his victory over Drew McIntyre at Bash in Berlin, was hoping for a title match against Gunther at Survivor Series.

However, Drew extended their rivalry into a month-long feud that ended in an epic Hell in a Cell match. Afterward, Punk expressed uncertainty about his WWE future on Raw, but he plans to compete in the Survivor Series.

Meanwhile, the recent changes have disappointed many fans, who are hoping for something big for Punk at the event with the Ring general and heavyweight title.

User @m_madferit commented, “Bro, part-timers really hate CM Punk so much šŸ˜.” After reading the comments, it’s clear that Goldberg is no longer a top-tier fan favorite.

User @Samwashusa expressed their feelings, saying, “I genuinely hope Goldberg doesnā€™t come back. Iā€™m begging him to just go to Shabbat and chill out. WE DONT WANT TO SEE HIM.”

Meanwhile, @dantecollins_6 raised a question, asking, “Can Goldberg still move fluently in the ring?”

Matt Hardy’s take on CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre’s HIAC match

On a recent episode of his podcast, “The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy,” TNA veteran Matt Hardy shared his thoughts on the Hell in a Cell match between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre at WWE Bad Blood 2024. Hardy praised the match, calling it “storytelling at its best.”

Hardy highlighted the dramatic build-up to the match, noting that both Punk and McIntyre did an amazing job of creating a compelling rivalry. He appreciated the intensity and viciousness of the battle, which he felt was a perfect culmination of their feud.

He also appreciated the execution of the match, considering it a fitting conclusion to a meticulously crafted storyline.
