The Los Angeles Lakers superstar Lebron James finally came back on the court last night against the Chicago Bulls at Crypto.com Arena after a consecutive absence of 13 games due to his season-ending foot injury.
Previously, on February 26, he suffered aggravating ankle soreness, which turned into a serious tendon sprain, and the Lakers star was set to miss a month of game time. Even some analysts also assumed he couldn’t come back before the postseason with the gravity of the injury.
However, against all the odds, LeBron made it to the court just a month later and proved the naysayers wrong about his fitness and recovery. After the game, he revealed the instrumental contribution of his early return.
What did LeBron James say regarding his quick recovery?
The 38-year-old was facing serious consequences for the injury, as a couple of doctors recommended he undergo surgery, which would seal any chance to return this season.
Instead, he went to a third option, and a mysterious specialist treated him, which made it possible for him to play last night. “Because I went to the LeBron James of feet, and he told me I shouldn’t,” the four-time NBA champion said.

Previously, his teammate Dennis Schroder indicated something of the forward’s visit to Germany, and it seems now a German doctor might have given him the ‘mysterious treatment.’
LeBron said two doctors recommended season-ending surgery, but then he went to see the “LeBron James of feet” and James determined he’d be able to return.

On a negative note, the highly talked about King James’ return wasn’t much of a show; the Lakers lost the game by a 10-point margin, and he only scored 19 points with eight rebounds and three assists in 30 minutes of play.
The 6.9-footer might start the return game with the Bulls at United Center on Wednesday, but he should take it slow on the recovery procedure, regardless of how magical that German physician may be. The Lakers will likely need him at peak form as they are the ninth seed in the Western Conference with seven games at hand.
