The Lakers improved their winning record to 39-21 after a big 136-115 victory against the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday night. With this win, they extended their streak to seven games.

While the Pelicans have been struggling this season, the game didn’t get much attention. But LeBron James made sure all eyes were on him by scoring the most points in NBA history, making it a night to remember.

LeBron James made history on Tuesday night by becoming the first player ever to score 50,000 career points. Before the game, the 40-year-old had 49,999 points, including regular season and postseason points, after scoring 17 points in Sunday’s game.

In the first quarter, James caught a pass from Luka Dončić and hit a 25-foot three-pointer, making the crowd go wild and securing his place in NBA history.

James finished the game with 34 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists. His teammate, Luka Dončić, also had a wonderful game, scoring 30 points and 15 assists. With this milestone, James is now nearly 6,000 points ahead of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who has 44,149 career points.
