The Los Angeles Lakers superstar, LeBron James, suffered a double upset from the loss against the Boston Celtics and an unacceptable mistake from the referees on Saturday night.
The Lakers fought tooth and nail with the mighty Celtics and took the game to overtime, but eventually bit the dust. Due to the dominance of the Celtics’ players, the Lakers lost by four points in overtime.
On the other hand, the Lakers have produced another regular scenario where only King James stood out.
In the dying moments of the fourth quarter, James’ hand was obstructed by the Celtics forward Jayson Tatum in an attempt to basket the ball. But the referees refused to call it a foul and denied the Lakers a well-deserved win.
However, the four-time NBA champion didn’t agree to have it at all and took it to a whole new level of protest, both on and off the court.
🤦🏾♂️!!! I don’t understand. I truly don’t https://t.co/XgVDGRZ5Wa

What did the referee’s association say after Lebron James’ fierce protest?
We have experienced hundreds and thousands of mistakes, misjudgments, and controversial calls by the referees. But for some weird reason, they are hardly held accountable or known to recognize their fault at any point. However, after huge protests and derogations, they finally opened their mouth.
“Like everyone else, referees make mistakes. We made one at the end of last night’s game and that is gut-wrenching for us,” the NBA referee released in a statement on Twitter. “This play will weigh heavily and cause sleepless nights as we strive to be the best referees we can be.”

This unusual and unique declaration from the referees sets a new precedent for the sports industry. In their defense, we know they are humans and are not able to provide 100% accurate decisions all the time, but admitting it won’t make them any less significant. The NBA world appreciates this gesture from the referees association.
Hey Elon can you make us some referee bots?
He’s still the biggest Whine-ass in sports today.
Can’t watch the NBA no More this year,I sat and watched the refs be the reason Boston remained in the game because of bogus calls, but missed the most important one of the game.
FIRE THEM AND KEEP THEM ACCOUNTABLE FOR THIS SHIT!! UNACCEPTABLE THAT THEY AREN’T HELD ACCOUNTABLE!!
If that was Jordan or kobe at the rim it wouldn’t have mattered cause they would’ve made it and one or not no question asked and now your crying about a no call suck it up yall lost move on to next game
On final play in thought he took on two manysteps before the before the foul
What a bunch of overpaid cry babies in NBA,withLebron being the biggest.
