LeBron James Scores Season Low in Lakers’ Blowout Loss against Timberwolves

The Lakers had a big win against the Utah Jazz on Sunday, with LeBron James reaching an amazing milestone of 15,000 field goals, becoming second in the history of the NBA. But the joy didn’t last long. On Monday, they faced a tough blowout loss to the Timberwolves, bringing their season record down to 12-9.

LeBron James had a tough game, scoring only 10 points, and this is his lowest this season. He couldn’t find his rhythm and shot just 25% from the field. He also had six turnovers. Cameras found him flexing his right hand on the bench, suggesting he might have been in some discomfort.

The Timberwolves dominated the game from start to finish, leading by as many as 36 points in the fourth quarter. Julius Randle led Minnesota with 18 points, while Rudy Gobert added 17 points and 12 rebounds. The bench also played a significant role, contributing 54 points.

In the post-game session, LeBron James told the reporters, “We’re just not good offensively right now. I think we spent so much time on trying to get our defense corrected that our offense just took a toll and took a back seat to that.”

Fans react to LeBron James’ struggles

Usually, LeBron James averages 22.6 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 9.4 assists in his 22nd year. But against the Timberwolves, he just scored his season-low 10 points. On Monday night, he barely avoided recording his ninth game with fewer than 10 points.

With this tough game and the Lakers’ big loss to the Timberwolves, fans are questioning if age is starting to affect the veteran.
