However, his talents have not only been passed down to his own skills on the court but also to his son, Bronny James. On Sunday, the two made an appearance at the Nike Hoop Summit held in Portland. Bronny played in front of NBA scouts and alongside some of the world’s most talented players.
LeBron James, along with his wife Savannah, grandmother Gloria, and daughter Zhuri, attended the event.
Bronny contributed to his team’s victory over Team World. He scored 11 points, 4 rebounds, a steal, and a block. The James family had also cheered Bronny on during the McDonald’s All-American Game, where he had previously competed.
LeBron James, however, will not be able to stay around for too long. Because he has to head back to Los Angeles for a game against the Utah Jazz on Sunday.
Other NBA players such as Draymond Green, and retired stars Chris Bosh along with Peja Stojakovic were also present at the event. Andrej Stojakovic, Peja Stojakovic’s son, played for Team World.
Andrej had the opportunity to spend time with Bronny. He was impressed by his humble nature despite being the son of a famous basketball player and having multi-million dollar NIL deals.
Future plans for LeBron James’ son
Bronny’s college plans have yet to be confirmed. But there has been a lot of speculation regarding which college he should choose.
Bronny has hinted that he may attend Oregon. But LaVar Ball believes that he should play in Australia, where he would be up against grown men and would receive payment. Kevin Durant, on the other hand, wants to see him play college basketball, and it appears that Bronny will take that route.
As the world eagerly awaits the news of where Bronny will attend college and what his future holds, the Nike Hoop Summit provided a glimpse of the young player’s potential. With his father, LeBron James, and family in attendance, Bronny shone on the court and proved that he is a talent to watch out for.
