What is Leon Edwards UFC ranking?
After securing a unanimous decision victory over Jorge Masvidal at UFC 272, Colby Covington has not had any further fights in the octagon. In the meantime, “Rocky,” has had two victories over Kamaru Usman.
In a highly anticipated rematch held at the O2 Arena in London, United Kingdom, Rocky, and The Nigerian Nightmare faced off for the third time in their careers. The fight, which took place in March, ended with a split decision in favor of the defending champion, Edwards.
Despite a fierce challenge from Usman, Edwards managed to retain his welterweight gold strap and solidify his position as the champion. During the post-fight press conference, Dana White announced Colby Covington as the next title challenger for the welterweight glory.
