In a recent video that has gone viral, Lionel Messi was seen rolling down his car window and waving at fans while on the highway.
Messi is currently on vacation in Argentina because of the international break. Since the World Cup championship parades, the Argentine Maestro hasn’t been back home. Recently, the attacking midfielder caused a stir in the crowd outside a restaurant in Buenos Aires. While the footballing legend was eating dinner, fans went wild outside, chanting “Messi! Messi!”

And why wouldn’t they? The seven times Ballon d’Or winner is the most beloved man in Argentina right now. With his sensational performance, Messi led his Argentinian side to secure Argentina’s 3rd World Cup title in December 2022.
In another piece of footage, Messi seemed like he couldn’t be happier as he was being dragged away from the crowd by security. And why wouldn’t he? The man has earned every bit of love he is getting!

Lionel Messi spotted happy on the Motorway
In another video, you can see admirers chanting his name as he drives down the highway. And rather than driving away without acknowledging the fans, the former Barca star rolled down his window, grinned, and waved. The free-kick specialist has indeed made his fans happy by winning the World Cup, and now he’s made the ones that spotted him even happier with his nice gesture.
Messi, the best person in the world. ❤️

Messi’s return to Paris Saint-Germain following the World Cup success hasn’t been quite impactful. PSG were knocked out of the Champions League and lost embarrassingly against Stade Rennes at home. Messi has failed to provide any significant impact during these games.
In Paris, he recently received a reaction from the crowd that was quite opposite of how people treated him in his homeland. Before the game vs. Rennes, the crowd started booing him as his name was being announced.
As Leo’s contract with PSG is expiring at the end of this season, it is quite possible that he may return to Argentina for the final hours of his decorated career. This warm reception from the Argentinians has only made the possibility even stronger.

The former Olympic winner can expect to get an even warmer reaction from the crowd as Argentina will be hosting Panama in front of 80,000 fans on March 24. Throughout Messi’s visit to Argentina, we anticipate seeing more popular videos of him interacting with fans.
