Lionel Messi is partnering up with Sony Music Entertainment, the company announced recently. This partnership will be to collaborate on a new animated series set to feature the childhood life of the Argentine superstar and how he overcame various obstacles. This series will be available in multiple languages including English and Spanish.
Messi has gone back to his usual best after a difficult first season in Paris, scoring goals and assists for fun once again. Despite this, his club side PSG was knocked out in the round of 16 by the Bavarian giants Bayern Munich in the knockout tie.
This will be a huge disappointment to the Qatari owners of the Parisian outfit, who crave the Champions League above any other trophy. The capital side is 8 points clear at the top in Ligue 1 but that holds little to no consolation to both the players and owners.
Despite PSG’s struggles, Messi will call this season a glorious success in his book as he finally got his hands on the object his heart desires the most during the international break, the FIFA World Cup, which ran from November to December in the year 2022. Messi also won the golden ball on the way to the trophy. He has now won both the Copa America and World Cup after facing criticism of failing to perform at the international level.
