Liv Morgan, the WWE Women’s World Champion, wants to show everyone how good she is and get back to being the best. After a tough year with injuries and problems, she is now working hard to prove people wrong and become one of the top stars again.
The exciting part of Liv Morgan’s storyline is her rivalry with Rhea Ripley, the dominant force in the women’s division. Just as Roman Reigns leads the men’s division, Ripley has the ability to lead the whole women’s scene. So, Morgan’s fight against Mami is her best chance to prove herself and reclaim her pride in the ring.
Now, she’s set to defend her WWE Women’s World Championship against Ripley at Bad Blood in Atlanta on October 5. Dominik Mysterio, her on-screen love interest, will be suspended in a shark cage above the ring. This marks WWE’s first shark cage match in seven years.
While talking to NewYork Post, Morgan said, “It’s interesting to be on the other side of [Ripley’s stardom] and be building my superstardom in my own right.” With Ripley also looking for her chance to strike back, fans are eager for the epic women’s championship showdown at Bad Blood.
Liv Morgan expresses disappointment over house show changes
WWE is scaling back on non-televised events, so there will be fewer house shows taking place. Liv Morgan, the current WWE Women’s World Champion, voiced her disappointment to see them go.
In a chat with The New York Post, she talked about how crucial house shows are for wrestlers, especially for those kicking off their careers, and expressed worries about how it affects younger talent.
She said, “I’m sad to see them kind of go a little bit because the house shows are so much fun and it’s so, so much more intimate. House shows are truly for the love of the game. House shows are for the love of the art of wrestling, performing and being with the fans and interacting with fans on a more intimate level.”
