In the women’s division, Liv Morgan is one of WWE’s most popular wrestlers due to her intense feud with Rhea Ripley. Their fights have gotten more exciting and tough, showing how much Morgan has improved. WWE doesn’t want to lose her, so they secured her with a big multi-year contract. This move ensures they can use her in exciting storylines for years to come.
At the Crown Jewel 2024 event in Saudi Arabia this week, Liv Morgan will challenge WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax for the inaugural Crown Jewel title. Before the big match, she appeared on Logan Paul’s “Impaulsive” podcast, where she discussed her career and her ongoing storyline with Rhea Ripley.
During the podcast, she also shared the exciting news that she just signed a new five-year contract with WWE. She said, “I just signed a new five-year deal, so my five-year plan is WWE. That’s my five-year plan.” Celebrating ten years with WWE, Morgan now hopes to extend her career to at least 15 years.
Liv Morgan breaks silence on 2023 arrest
On December 14, 2023, Liv Morgan was arrested in Sumter County, Florida, for having synthetic drugs and a small amount of cannabis. The first charge was dropped, and the second was moved to another court and then closed. On Logan Paul’s “Impaulsive” podcast, Morgan talked about her arrest and how it might affect her wrestling career.
She said, “So I got arrested, and bailed out, and called work right away. My jail call was work. I called our head of talent relations at the time, Dan (Ventrelle). I explained exactly what happened, and he was like, ‘Alright, we’ll figure this out, stay hush, go to work tomorrow, don’t tell anyone, do your thing’.”
Despite the support from WWE, Morgan felt guilty and ashamed, thinking she had ruined everything she had worked for. She continued, “I didn’t want to lose my standing at work, I didn’t want them to think I was, like, this criminal. I had worked so hard to get in the position that I was in, and I thought I just ruined everything. So I was just upset. I thought I ruined my career.”
