Liverpool star Mohamed Salah urges for help to be allowed to enter Gaza to end ‘conflict’ in Palestine-Israel war

Mohamed Salah, Liverpool’s Egyptian talisman, nearly ended up joining the Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittihad this summer. Liverpool are already exploring a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah as the winger could move to the Middle East next summer in 2024.

Mohamed Salah is one of the best players in the Premier League and Liverpool’s history and is considered an icon at Anfield. The forward is one of the most admired stars in global football. He has now come forward, pleading to end the ongoing rift between Palestine and Israel.

The former Champions League winner is regarded as a hero especially among Arab and African nations due to his achievements despite coming from a less privileged background. The Egyptian established himself as one the best players to grace the pitch and Liverpool fans have titled Mohamed Salah the “ Egyptian King”. 

Salah posted an emotional clip on his social media accounts showing solidarity with human lives disrupted by the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. He pleaded to stop the ‘massacre’ as families were torn apart, voicing his support for an end to the conflict. He condemned the horrifying attacks on hospitals, which recently claimed the lives of children and parents.

In the posted clip, Salah said, urging, “It’s not always easy to speak in times like these. There has been too much violence, heartbreak, and brutality. The escalations in recent weeks are unbearable to witness. All lives are sacred and must be protected.'”

“The massacres need to stop. Families are being turned apart. What’s clear now is that humanitarian aid to Gaza must be allowed immediately. The people there are in terrible conditions”, he added further.

Salah pleaded to support the victims involved in the attacks with humanitarian aid, urging to restore food, water, and medicinal help to Gaza. The Egyptian talisman further asked the world leaders to come forward to end the war which has claimed thousands of lives in the past few weeks. Salah is among the few athletes who have voiced their stance amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

Reportedly, the Egyptian himself made a donation through his agent to the humanitarian organization of the Egyptian Red Crescent Society in support of the people of Gaza, providing immediate help for the victims of the war. He ended his note with a call for humanity to prevail.
