The shared remembrances highlighted the special connection Lua had with their children. Tom Brady, aged 46, took to Instagram to post two stories. The first story featured a photo of his children, Benjamin (14) and Vivian (11), holding Lua.
The caption in Tom’s post expressed love for Lua and included the sentiment “We love you Lua RIP,” accompanied by heart emojis, a prayer emoji, and a sparkle emoji.
The photo showed Brady’s children hovering over Lua, whose eyes were closed, indicating the peaceful passing of the family dog. Brady also posted photos of his children hanging out in an attempt to cheer them on after this tragic incident.
As Tom Brady is retired now, he spends most of his time with his kids and expanding his business empire. There were also rumors that he is dating Irina Shayk, but nothing is confirmed yet.
Gisele pens emotional message following the heartbreaking event
Gisele Bündchen, aged 43, shared her personal tribute to their late family dog, Lua, in response to Tom Brady’s Instagram posts. Her tribute consisted of a 10-picture carousel on Instagram, commencing with a photo of herself holding Lua and featuring playful moments between the dog and their children.
The caption of Gisele’s post conveyed deep emotions, referring to Lua as “our little Lulu” and describing her as their “guardian angel” now in heaven.
Gisele expressed that Lua would forever live in their hearts and conveyed the intense sense of loss, stating, “We already miss her sooooo much!” The hashtags #unconditionallove and “RIPLua” were included.
Lua, a Pitbull mix, had been a significant part of their family since being adopted by Brady and Bündchen. The dog even appeared in a 2014 Ugg commercial alongside Tom Brady.
