After a long wait, Lakers fans can finally relax as Luka Dončić showed his MVP-level skills in a recent game against the Nuggets. He scored 32 points, leading the Los Angeles Lakers to a big 123-100 win on Saturday night. This also helped JJ Redick’s team improve their record to 34-21.
Playing his fourth game for the Lakers after the big trade from Dallas, Luka Doncic performed amazingly. His last three games weren’t great, and his previous match was called his worst ever. But against the Nuggets, he made a huge comeback.
Doncic scored 32 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, and had 7 assists, showing great skill on both sides of the court. He started strong, scoring 16 points in the first quarter, helping the Lakers take a 31-18 lead.

Luka Dončić feels his journey has just begun after Nuggets game
After playing three games with the Lakers and averaging 14.7 points, Luka Dončić finally had his best game in a Lakers uniform on Saturday night in Denver. Everyone was frustrated as his performance wasn’t as strong as Anthony Davis’. But Luka seemed to find his rhythm in this game.
In the post-game interview, Luka said, “Finally feel like myself a little bit. Playing this game, this is what I love. Just finally being myself a little bit, that’s why I was smiling all game.”
When talking about his team chemistry, he added, “Chemistry takes time. You saw today that it’s getting better. Every day, it’s getting better. … Hard, different, but I’m happy to be playing basketball.”
