The New England Patriots’ young prodigy Mac Jones has been the center of a handful of rumors circulating about him being traded somewhere else for next season.
Mac joined the Patriots after being picked 15th overall in the 2021 NFL draft and became the incomparable player on the roster. From the very first season, he established himself in the starting quarterback role and didn’t crumble under the pressure.
However, recently, in an interview, he opened up about the situation at the team and addressed the speculations around him.

The 24-year-old had huge expectations of him to fill the position Tom Brady left in the Patriots. Naturally, any rookie player would crumble under that colossal pressure, but he overcame it.
Now, the Patriots have brought back one of the most experienced quarterback coaches, Bill Obrien. In this situation, the pro bowler is excited to work with the man who mentored Brady. ” Yeah, I think we’re all excited for this next year, and it just starts with putting your head down and going to work,” he said.

“We’ve got a great group of guys, and it’s all about how you come together as a team — players, coaches, everybody,” Manning Award winner said. “So I’m excited to work with him and I know we all are. And it’s gonna be a great year, we’ve just gotta put the work in.”
in response to the trade rumors, the two-time CFP national champion said, “It’s been good. I think it’s important to just evaluate everything. Obviously, a day like today, it takes your mind off football and you get to enjoy the kids.”

“But I’ve definitely been giving it a lot, just like every year, and just super excited to get back with the guys here soon and get to work,” Jones squashed the talk of him going anywhere else.
Mac Jones scored 36 touchdowns and made 24 interceptions with 6,798 yards of passing in 963 attempts. His stellar performance propelled him to be named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team in 2021.
