The PL's case vs City is, for most part, not an FFP case at all. More fundamental than that. It is that the club has provided junk financials (audited and forecasts) for 9 years. That is their underlying allegation. An extraordinary thing to try and prove in an arbitration panel

“Alarmist or not, the sheer extent of the PL charges are at a level that IF found proven, must lead to relegation,” Borson tweeted.
Man City however haven’t felt the heat yet as they are confident. In an official statement, the hierarchy of City said, “Manchester City FC is surprised by the issuing of these alleged breaches of the Premier League Rules, particularly given the extensive engagement and vast amount of detailed materials that the EPL has been provided with.”
“The Club welcomes a review of this matter by an independent Commission, to impartially consider the comprehensive body of irrefutable evidence that exists in support of its position. As such we look forward to this matter being put to rest once and for all.”- Official statement reads.
