Manchester United is a club where sublime performances are rewarded with high salary and bonuses. Being one of the biggest and richest clubs in the world, players also give everything for the Red Devils’ shirt in order to make their bank balance heavier. Marcus Rashford, after having a sensational 2022-23 season, is being rewarded with a new contract as well.
The Red Devils had a 3rd-place finish in the Premier League, as well as won the Carabao Cup thanks to Marcus Rashford contributing heavily in the attack. After Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure in January, Rashford stepped up and filled in the shoes of a prolific goalscorer, and now, he is getting his reward for his heroics.
Marcus Rashford stellar season rewarded by Man Utd
The 25-year-old English forward already earns a staggering basic salary of £200K-a-week, in addition to many bonuses. He only had another year remaining of his current contract, however.
Hence, Manchester United have offered their talismanic player a new contract worth £375K-a-week, which will make him one of Premier League’s top 5 earners. The new offer is a five-year contract extension which will see the player earn an extra £8.4 million per year over five seasons.

His teammate, David De Gea, who was one of Premier League’s top earners, got different treatment. United’s No.1 earned nearly £403K-a-week with all bonuses included; however, De Gea’s contract has run out with the conclusion of this season. Manchester United are ready to hand him a new deal, but are willing to reduce his wages to £200K-a-week.
