Manchester United reportedly want Jadon Sancho out following the winger’s EA Sports FC 24 activity gets leaked

Jadon Sancho has been absent from the squad for almost a month following his social media post targeting Manchester United boss Ten Hag, who had questioned his training performance as a reason for not selecting him. The winger later removed the post in an attempt to resolve the issue.

Recently, Jadon Sancho also refused to issue a public apology to the manager and consequently the forward was excluded from first-team training by the club. Now, he faces renewed criticism, this time from EA Sports FC 24.

Report: United willing to sell Sancho in January

Manchester United is currently facing a challenging season, having secured only 6 points in five games with consecutive league defeats, placing them in the 13th position on the Premier League table. Their most recent setback came in the form of a 4-3 loss to Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League.

Sancho made a promising move to England when he joined his former team’s city rivals, Manchester United, in 2021. However, he struggled to replicate his Dortmund brilliance due to injuries, loss of form, and fitness issues, which prevented him from becoming a regular at Old Trafford.

Just as he began to secure regular playing time under Ten Hag, the winger was abruptly dropped from the squad. In response, he publicly criticized the manager, referring to himself as a “scapegoat”. From that point onwards, the situation deteriorated for the 23-year-old.

Jadon Sancho had a dry spell with only 12 goals and 6 assists to his name in 82 appearances. Recent reports have emerged suggesting that the club is prepared to sell the forward in the upcoming January window.

His time with the Red Devils certainly appears to be over amid his suspension, the club is now looking to offload the 23-year-old. Although seemingly he had tried to mend the bridges but has now accepted his fate and is keen to make an exit.

Sancho spotted playing EA Sports FC 24 instead of supporting club in UCL

Despite the ongoing situation and uncertainty over his future with the club, the forward was seen playing EA Sports FC 24 instead of showing support for the team during their UCL opener.

Sancho last featured in the Man United squad in the 3rd Premier League match as a substitute against Nottingham Forrest. As of now, Sancho is officially debarred from first-team activities and will remain suspended until further notice.

The winger is set to miss another upcoming game, as he remains out of selection for the away fixture against Burnley on Saturday.
