Manchester United to monitor Harry Kane situation with Tottenham owner sending ultimatum to Daniel Levy

Tottenham Hotspur are struggling to keep their star striker Harry Kane at the club. The English forward is one of the Premier League’s hottest properties and its second-highest scorer, with 213 goals PL goals to his name. Harry Kane is deeply interested to move away from the Spurs and one possible destination for him could be Old Trafford. The red devils have been a club with links to Kane every season.   

The suitors also include Bayern Munich who are currently the frontrunners to get Kane’s signature, with club heads openly admitting conversations with the player and his camp. Tottenham have already rejected 2 Bayern bid for their star man, with the North London club hoping to extend his contract and keep him at the club. Kane, on the other hand, definitely wants to move towards pastures new, joining a club capable of winning trophies at the highest level.

The 29-year-old is a priced commodity in the soccer world, with consistent world-class performances for the past 6 years. In his time at Tottenham, Kane has won the PL Golden Boot twice. His most supreme trait is his ability to provide 25-30 sure short goals a season, which is paramount to ensure success at the highest level.

In light of the current circumstances, Spurs owner Joe Lewis has given Levy an ultimatum. The club owner has made it crystal clear to his chairman, to sell Harry Kane now if he does not sign the new contract.

Manchester United are monitoring the situation of Harry Kane, with the English forward an ideal target for manager Erik Ten Hag. With his stay at Tottenham remaining highly unlikely, along with Spur’s owner’s ultimatum could sway United to capitalize on the situation and land the striker at Old Trafford. 

However, transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano maintains that recent transfer rumors suggesting Kane’s move to Manchester United are inaccurate. The Italian proclaims that Manchester United are only focused on Danish forward Rasmus Hojlund, and will soon discuss a bid with his current club Atalanta. Manchester United will negotiate a price of around $80 million for the 20-year-old who remains as United’s primary target.
