After a false positive result of COVID-19, Detroit Lion’s quarterback Matthew Stafford had to go through a terrible period and his wife blames solely NFL for this.
Matthew’s wife Kelly has recently posted on her Instagram account and addressed it as something like a nightmare.
She said, “I have been losing my mind because of how my family has been treated since my husband was put on COVID-19. Even after we knew it was false positive, our school told us they were not allowed back, I was approached in a grocery store and told I was ‘endangering others,’ my kids were harassed and kicked off a playground, I was told I needed to wait in my car when trying to pick up food, and people closest to us had to get tested just so they could go back to work.”
Kelly has reportedly been blaming the NFL for not taking the accountability of the false-positive result and consequences. On the other hand, the NFL has said that being on the restricted list for COVID -19 does not mean the person is infected always rather he was in contact with an infected one.
But After experiencing such horrible experience Stafford and his wife suggest that the NFL officials should be changed as soon as possible. All these comments over the social media were coming from kelly’s profile, Matthew has not commented or expressed anything publicly yet.
Due to the raging situation of the pandemic in the US, the authority is taking extra precautions to safeguard the sports aura from the virus. But hopefully, they will be a little more cautious in the next time while dealing with it.
