Juventus manager Max Allegri is close to a move to the Saudi Pro League as he has been offered a huge contract.
Despite a horrendous season with Juventus, Max Allegri has reportedly been offered a massive contract by Saudi giants Al Hilal.
According to Italian media outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport, Al Hilal has offered the Italian manager a massive three-year contract with a salary of €20 million per season. The three-year contract will see Allegri earn €60 million in total. He would be given a €10 million signing fee.

After Cristiano Ronaldo joined Al Nassr for a contract worth $200 million, and Karim Benzema and N’golo Kante joined Al Ittihad on a similarly big contract, more stars are expected to follow suit.

Massive paydays are primarily attracting the best talents to the Arab country. They are handing huge contracts to pretty much everyone that wants to join their league. At the current rate, It should be a matter of time before the Saudi League becomes one of the biggest leagues in the world.

Should Max Allegri leave Juventus?
Max Allegri still has two years remaining on his contract with Juventus. Currently, he only earns €7 million per season.
The manager met with Al Hilal representatives in Monte Carlo where he is on vacation. He did not offer an immediate answer but will contemplate it in the coming days.
Allegri has had a very bad season with Juventus. It was another season of the Italian giants not winning any trophies. Moreover, Juventus will have to play in the Europa Conference League next season as they have finished 7th in the Serie A.
Many fans have asked Allegri to be sacked due to his team’s poor performances. Juventus have also lost its historic attacking identity under him, and are more focused on the defensive style of football.
He has also lost the support of the board, who want to replace him with Antonio Conte. His bad performances plus some off-the-field arguments with some directors mean he is close to leaving.
Juventus may allow Allegri to leave the club. If he does leave the Serie A giants for the deserts of Arabia, he will be on a long list of players and managers to have made the switch.
