Even though the standout Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers appeared in the stadium a couple of times not too long after he went through a critical surgery, a recent video posted by the New York Jets hints his possible comeback.

Pat McAfee left in awe of Rodgers after spectacular recovery

On Sunday, October 1, the “One Jets Driver” of the New York Jets posted a video of their quarterback, Aaron Rodgers marching with a minor limp into the lockers room without the assistance of any crutches.

Pat McAfee was in awe after watching the video portraying the quarterback’s impressive mobility that goes against the likeliness of conventional medical recovery procedure.

Pat McAfee, visibly take aback, addressed how his smooth recovery is against the odds and lauded Aaron’s message to the teams, proving “he’s still there for them”.

Aaron Rodgers’ dedicated recovery reaffirms his commitment to the Jets as he has also mentioned, “I don’t wanna walk into the locker room until the boy can see me walk”. Seems like Aaron kept his end of the bargain.

Pat McAfee regarded the swift healing process as a “Modern Marvel” which was a nod to Aaron’s dedicated effort for recovery. The Jets QB also briefly hinted at the possibility of comeback this season which fans are eagerly waiting for.

Besides the banters and stunned reactions, Pat Mcafee further eloquently conveyed, “I’m happy for him” for his rapid progression by walking without assistance less than a month after the critical surgery.

Expected recovery time for Rodgers

The quarterback, Aaron Rodgers’ staggering recovery for someone in his 40s with a tear in his Achilles tendon, not only kicks of an unanticipated comeback story but defies all odds. According to Hospital for Special Surgery, “patients can expect three to four weeks of immobilization, non-weightbearing (using crutches.) and most patients begin to bear weight on their foot at four weeks after surgery.” Compared to that, Aaron Rodgers is significantly ahead of the typical recovery timeline.

By now he would only be walking with supportive boots based on the Hospital’s anticipated timeline. But even though he was relying on an aircast and crutches during the match of week 3, there were no signs of boots. And now the NFL star has already almost discarded the use of both.

The rapid progression in his recovery has left fans and many supporters eagerly manifesting his comeback to the Jets.
