Celebrities and influential people have been growing a habit of participating in combat sports more frequently these days. By participating in jiu-jitsu, Mark also joined that group. Tom Hardy, a well-known Hollywood actor, recently made news for participating in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

The owner of Facebook has been practicing jiu-jitsu for a while now. Since the pandemic, Mark has developed a real interest in this Brazilian mixed martial arts sports. Zuckerberg’s participation in a Jiu-jitsu competition hosted in Redwood City, California might only be the start of his career in combat sports.
The META boss didn’t simply exit from the competition as a competitor; instead, he took home gold in the Nogi Master 1 White Belt Feather Weight Division and silver in the Gi Master 2 White Belt Feather Weight Division.

In an Instagram post, Mark confirmed his victories with a post captioning, “Competed in my first jiu-jitsu tournament and won some medals for the Guerrilla Jiu Jitsu team.”
Without the mentor’s praise, what good is a victory in combat sports? One of Mark’s coaches, Khai Wu, offered warm congrats to him as well. Additionally, “The Shadow” stated that he will keep pushing the development of the American business magnate in jiu-jitsu.
“Yesterday getting to see Zuck compete was pretty epic. No match was easy and everything was earned. It was an honor to be able to help coach and offer any advice I could.” said Khai.
