MMA star Sean O’Malley challenges Aljamain Sterling’s credibility over expensive UFC boss Dana White gift

In an upcoming event, Sean O’Malley is scheduled to face Aljamain Sterling for the bantamweight championship at UFC 292 in August. Sterling’s turnaround time has been quite rapid, considering his last fight occurred in May, where he narrowly defended his title against Henry Cejudo at UFC 288.

Speculation about a strained relationship between Sterling and UFC president Dana White began circulating following UFC 288, as it seemed that the ‘Funk Master’ was reluctant to face O’Malley in such a short span of time.

However, recent reports revealing that White had gifted Sterling a Lamborghini have put an end to the rumors of tension between the two. O’Malley has recently disputed the claim that Dana gifted Aljamain a Lamborghini.

Sean O’Malley debunks Aljamain Sterling’s claim

Sean is skeptical of Aljamain’s assertion that he received a lavish gift from UFC president Dana. Sterling had shared a photo on Instagram expressing gratitude to White for his new bright green Lamborghini.

But O’Malley presented evidence to the contrary on a recent episode of his YouTube show, the TimboSugarShow, alongside coach Tim Welch.

Sean promptly refuted Sterling’s claims by showcasing an Instagram post from the car rental company that indicated Aljamain had rented the vehicle rather than receiving it as a gift,

“Dana didn’t give Sterling… Look at this. The people that rented him that Lambo posted on their Instagram that said, ‘Champs rent from champs.’ He rented the Lambo. I wanted to make a funny video saying, ‘Yeah, Dana bought me a house!’ Dana doesn’t f—ng buy new shit.”

Who is Sean O’Malley fighting next?

As of the current update, the highly anticipated title fight between Sterling and Sean is confirmed to be the headliner of UFC 292.

The co-main event will feature another championship bout, pitting strawweight champion Zhang Weili against Amanda Lemos.

Adding to the excitement of the card are the returns of former champions Chris Weidman and Cody Garbrandt. Weidman, who suffered a devastating leg-break injury in 2021, is making his comeback and will face off against Brad Tavares.

Fans eagerly anticipate Weidman’s return to the octagon. On the other hand, Garbrandt aims to continue his winning streak as he steps into the cage against Mario Bautista, creating further anticipation for a thrilling matchup.

With a lineup featuring such prominent fighters and high-stakes bouts. UFC 292 is expected to deliver an unforgettable night of action for MMA enthusiasts around the world.
