Months after making bold LeBron James predictions, Patriots legend Rob Gronkowski hails King James’ high school football skills

Rob Gronkowski, the former NFL tight end, has recently shared his views about the NBA legend LeBron James. LeBron is regarded as one of the best players in the NBA and has been dominating the league since he joined at the young age of 18.

A few months ago, Rob Gronkowski made a bold prediction about his retirement and now that a video of LeBron James playing football went viral, Gronkowski commented on his football skills.

Gronkowski applauds LeBron’s gridiron talents

Gronk was impressed by the video and specifically praised LeBron’s play, noting that he looked good on the field.

Gronkowski mentioned that it seemed like LeBron was avoiding getting hit on the football field. This was because basketball was LeBron’s priority, and he likely didn’t want to risk injuries associated with football.

“Looks like he doesn’t want to get hit. That was a nice play, the first one was all right, you know, but that one the fade route, the go route, that was pretty nice. I mean, reach for the endzone. He definitely can play ball.”

Deebo Samuel, the 49ers wide receiver, was also in the interview and he also praised LeBron’s football skills and was pleased with what he saw from the four-time NBA champion. Although LeBron James could have made his name in the NFL, he chose the NBA and has already cemented his name there.

Rob Gronkowski boldly predicted LeBron James wouldn’t retire

LeBron James had faced speculation about his potential retirement, especially after the Lakers’ disappointing 4-0 sweep in the NBA playoffs. However, once he had expressed his desire to play alongside his son, Bronny, who couldn’t be drafted until 2024, there’s no chance the 38-year-old would get retired now.

Amid these retirement rumors, Rob Gronkowski made a bold prediction regarding LeBron James’ retirement. He didn’t believe that LeBron would retire anytime soon. Gronkowski believed that the retirement rumors were false.

“No, no, I don’t think so. I think it’s just kind of a rumor going around right now. Or he started a rumor, or whatever happened, why the rumor started.”

Instead, he thought LeBron would continue to play until he could share the court with his son, Bronny.

“But I think he’s going to play until he can at least one year with his son. I think that would be extremely legendary. That would be magnificent if he does that. It’ll be the first time we ever see anything like that, and it would be mind-blowing. I would love to see that.”

Rob Gronkowski praised LeBron’s exceptional physical condition, high-level performance, and dedication to taking care of his body as reasons why he thought LeBron would continue playing until he could team up with his son.

“But the way that he’s playing, he’s at such a high level, he’s in such great shape. He takes care of his body so well, obviously. ‘Cause he won’t be doing what he’s doing at the age of 38.”

Rob Gronkowski has too much confidence in LeBron James, and he knows that with his current potential, LeBron is poised to achieve more success. He completely denied the retirement rumors about the NBA legend.

Gronkowski is waiting for LeBron to play with his son like the rest of the football world and before that happens, no one is ready to let King James bid farewell to the sports world.
