Ryan Reynolds’s soccer club Wrexham is set to face Manchester United in a friendly in the United States of America. It will take place at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego on Tuesday. The match was announced back in March with a hilarious announcement video featuring the owners Ryan Reynolds, and Rob McElhenney with legendary United manager Sir Alex Ferguson. The two attempt to talk with the manager regarding the match in the comedic-themed video.
Erik Ten Hag, United’s manager, is taking the team on tour in the United States of America in preparation for the 2023-24 season. Already the Red Devils faced Arsenal beating them 2-0 and 5-3 in penalties as well.
Wrexham’s famous Hollywood owners, Ryan Reynolds, and Rob McElhenney have seen their club promoted to League Two. They have also faced Chelsea in Florida a few days back who beat them 5-0.
Reynolds set to miss the match due to Deadpool 3
While Wrexham will play arguably their biggest game ever in recent times against United, co-owner Ryan Reynolds will not be present to watch the match. According to Manchester Evening News, This is because the actor is currently in London where he is working on the highly anticipated movie Deadpool 3.

Wrexham has surpassed the budget and expenditure of their other National League opponents. According to sources, more than £10 million has been invested in completely revamping the club. They have also signed sponsorship deals with TikTok and Expedia.
In an effort to entice attackers Ollie Palmer and Paul Mullin away from Football League teams, the team has seen significant investment in transfer fees and wages, as well as enhanced training facilities with the construction of a new performance gym on the grounds of the stadium.
