After Ja Morant, the NBA star faced punishment for showing guns during live videos, NFL star Jack Jones couldn’t remain tight-lipped and share his opinion on the issue. He took Morant to task and vilified his controversial acts in every way.
However, months after Morant’s act, the NFL star got entangled in the same kind of incidents that led to his arrest.
Ja Morant handed 25 games suspension by NBA
The basketball player received a 25 games suspension from NBA following his gun scandal. However, it isn’t the only time, he was spotted doing something like that. Previously in March, Morant got himself engaged in the same kind of activity which led to 8 games suspension from the league.
Since the back-to-back scandals, the athlete’s career is at stake right now and with time, it will be known if he will be able to form himself and rectify his mistakes or not.
Jack’s tweet backfires spectacularly
The New England Patriots Cornerback Jack Jones has been arrested over the charges of carrying illegal firearms in his luggage at the Logan Airport. Amid the ongoing hue and cry of the scandal, a new incident is adding more fuel to the fire.
@JaMorant dumb.. you letting social media and yo pride ruin yo real money. Put them guns down and run that money up. Make one of yo homies sign up for security or concealed carry if you feel like you need it that bad.. but you the bread winner you gotta start acting like it..

Months before his own arrest, the NFL star took to his Twitter account to publicly criticize another fellow athlete over posting a video with guns. It was none other than the controversial Grizzlies player Ja Morant.
In his post, the CB wrote, “@JaMorant dumb.. you letting social media and yo pride ruin yo real money. Put them guns down and run that money up. Make one of yo homies sign up for security or concealed carry if you feel like you need it that bad.. but you the bread winner you gotta start acting like it..”
Both NFL and NBA fans can’t but share there their comments over the tweet and some ended up calling the post the “Most ironic tweet of all time.” It seems, Jack’s own post is speaking up against him and immensely backfired his arrest issue.
However, the footballer was granted bail with over $50,000 payment after his arrest on June 16, 2023. Moreover, he is scheduled to appear before the court for the final hearing in the next week.
Will this firearm charge most likely affect Jack Jones’ NFL career? Time will tell.
