Morgan Freeman recently appeared on CBS Mornings to discuss his role in an upcoming Netflix documentary. The documentary he’s involved in is called “Life on Our Planet,” where Freeman will provide his iconic voice as the narrator.
During the interview, the hosts shifted from the documentary to celebrity news, particularly Taylor Swift’s relationship with Travis Kelce. Gayle King confirmed Freeman’s support for the NFL team, the Kansas City Chiefs.
King asked Freeman about his thoughts on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship, inquiring if it was ‘keeping him up at night’ and if he was in favor of it. The male co-hosts also jokingly asked if Freeman was a “Swiftie,” a term for Taylor Swift’s fans.
But Morgan Freeman replied, “I. Don’t. Think. About. Them. At. All.”
Freeman responded to all these questions by saying he doesn’t think about them at all and that he’s primarily interested in the Chiefs’ touchdowns and wins.
“Well yeah. Are you winning? It is great to watch [Patrick Mahomes] run. He has got a rifle for an arm, that is what I am interested in,” Freeman added.
The conversation briefly turned to football, with the mention that Travis Kelce was playing exceptionally well. But it is now clear that not all Chiefs fans are crazy about the Taylor-Travis relationship.
Travis Kelce invests in Kansas City property
Travis Kelce recently purchased a $6 million home in Kansas City, Missouri. This new property offers better privacy for Kelce and Taylor Swift as they date.
Kelce’s previous residence had become too accessible and was attracting unwanted attention from tourists and paparazzi. His new property is located in a gated community, giving them more privacy from the media and public.
Kelce’s new home has six bedrooms, six bathrooms, and various amenities like a pool with a waterfall, a tennis court, a pickleball court, and a mini-golf course.
There’s no information on what he plans to do with his other Kansas City home, which he purchased in 2019 for $995,000. The only reason Travis invested in a new home was to get more privacy with Taylor Swift. But his new home is also the epitome of comfort and luxury.
While certain fans, such as Morgan Freeman, remain uninterested in the relationship between Taylor and Travis, it’s noteworthy that the tight end’s exceptional performance this season is commonly attributed to his association with Taylor Swift.
