NBA legend Lebron James has applauded Ja Morant’s’s poster dunk vs the Timberwolves on Twitter. Ja has produced a picture-perfect poster dunk in the 5th game of the Grizzlies-Timberwolves series. This prompted James to tweet out his praises.
Ja Morant‘s incredibly athletic dunk helped the Grizzlies overcome a point deficit and ultimately win the 5th game. The series is 3-2 in favor of the Grizzlies. The next game is very crucial as a Grizzlies victory would win them the series. But the Timberwolves will undoubtedly go all out in hopes of taking the series to the 7th and final game!

A poster dunk is a rare feat in Basketball, with a few greats being the only ones who had ever done it! Micheal Jordan, Kobe Bryant and Lebron James are the one of the few to have posters made about their dunks over other players.
Poster dunks are iconic dunks by offensive players jumping over the shoulders of an opponent to dunk the ball in the basket. These spectacular plays are often printed out and made into posters for sale and merchandising.
This is Grizzlies ace Ja Morant’s best moment thus far in this season’s playoffs. Ja has a had a fantastic short career so far, he made the NBA All-Star in 2022 and was voted the rookie of the year back in 2020.
He started his professional career with the Memphis Grizzlies and has been with them ever since. Ja has already become a star for the Memphis outfit at only 22 years of age!
If Ja Morant keeps on putting firecracker performances like this, he is bound to become one of the NBA biggest draws very soon!
Drawing praise out of the mouths of Lebron James is no easy feat! But Lebron seems to believe in the hype of the Ja Morant poster dunk! It remains to be seen how far Ja can take the Grizzlies, as they unexpectedly struggled against the Timberwolves in this playoffs series!
