The Golden State Warriors can potentially bring in the ex-teammate of their veteran point guard Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, where Paul can have a happy reunion with Blake if the Warriors are willing to sign the 6-foot-9 Power Forward. Warriors have already surprised much of the NBA when they traded their young talent Jordan Poole to the Washington Wizards for Chris Paul.
Chris Paul has now become a part of one of the oldest cores entering into the 2023-24 season. Paul will partner up with Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson with the hopes of getting to the championship this season. The Warriors were met with a disappointing exit in last year’s playoff and have signed Paul with the hopes of making another championship run.
Blake Griffin trade rumors
Fans were very eager to see the Warriors refresh the roster but Golden State lay low after signing Chris Paul. The only few more signings they did were Dario Saric, Cory Joseph, and Trayce Jackson-Davis.
But things can take a turn as it seems the Warriors are not done with their off-season yet. It is rumored that the Warriors are looking to pick up another veteran player to add to their roster. The player in question is rumored to be Blake Griffin, a former teammate of the Warrior’s new signing Chris Paul.

Blake Griffin recently played for the Boston Celtics but has parted ways and is a free agent now. If the rumors come true then Griffin and Paul can reunite and remind the fans of their incredible chemistry which they showed during the 2010s.
Blake Griffin and Chris Paul’s on-court chemistry
Blake Griffin and Chris Paul have a great history together. Griffin was in the 2011 season’s team of LA Clippers and the team’s performance was significantly improving that season. Blake had won the Rookie of the Year award and was leading the Clippers but there always seemed an empty spot in the Clippers team when they played. That empty spot was filled by Chris Paul was was acquired by the Clippers in a trade with the New Orleans Hornets.
The Duo of Griffin and Paul quickly ticked off together and took the Clippers to six straight appearances in the playoffs. This accomplishment was big for the Clippers as they had only been to the playoffs once since 2000. The duo also gave the fans a lot of highlight-worthy moments which were incredible to witness. Although the Clippers faced disappointment as they lost and never made it to the finals, the duo gave people some precious memories.
If the Golden State Warriors manage to sign Blake Griffin, it will be interesting to see the partnership between him and Paul again. Will they be able to create the same highlight-worthy moments again? Will it be beneficial for the Warriors? What do you think about it, drop down below and let us know.
