NBA world brutally toasts Warriors, Stephen Curry for collapse vs Kyrie Irving following Nets’ thrilling triumph

The Nets improved to 29-17 on the season with their victory on Sunday. Prior to the game, Golden State had a 17-5 record at home this season. The Warriors had a chance to win the game, leading by as many as 17 points and led 110-100 with less than five minutes remaining.

However, they let a Royce O’Neale three with less than 28.5 seconds remaining to doom them.

Golden State was outscored 27-10 in the last seven minutes of the game, while Brooklyn outscored them 60-44 in the second half overall.

Kyrie Irving led the way with 38 points, while Nic Claxton had a game-high 24 points and 15 rebounds.

In their win, the Nets shot 54.4 percent from the field and 51.9 percent from three-point range.

The Warriors have been unable to string wins together recently. They have alternated between losing and winning their previous seven games, including Sunday’s. They just cannot generate enough momentum to mount a winning streak.

It is up to the rest of the Dubs now to answer Curry’s challenge, but with the season halfway over, they must act sooner rather than later.
