This year’s NCAA baseball tournament is wide open. Mississippi State, the defending Men’s College World Series champion, will not compete in the tournament in 2022. This year, Tennessee leads the way following a 53-7 season that includes a 25-5 Southeastern Conference record.
The conference tournaments are over, and the top 16 seeds have been determined across the country. In the regionals, a total of 64 schools will compete. They’ll compete for a berth in the super regionals and then a trip to Omaha.

NCAA baseball tournament bracket 2022
On May 30, the NCAA unveiled the baseball tournament bracket. It identified the 16 host cities and ranked the top teams in the country. After defeating Florida in the SEC Tournament championship, Tennessee (53-7) earned the No. 1 overall seed.
The winner of the No. 1-seed Knoxville Regional will face the winner of the No. 16-seed Statesboro Regional in a best-of-three series for a berth in the Men’s College World Series, while the No. 2 regional winner will face the No. 15 regional winner, and so on.

After the end of the regionals on 6th June, the surviving teams will move on to the super regionals, which is going to start from 10th June. The Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, Nebraska will be hosting All College World Series games simultaneously.
