Adam Schefter, an ESPN analyst, spoke out in response to Aaron Rodgers’ remark about him in relation to trade rumors linking Rodgers and the New York Jets. In an appearance on the Pat McAfee show, Aaron expressed his wish to stay with the Packers. This quarterback stated that he does not want to switch to the New York Jets from the Green Bay Packers.
Adam, a well-known ESPN sports reporter, and analyst, recently attempted to text Rodgers for a report. But it appears that Rodgers doesn’t particularly like ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter as he refused to give this reporter any information on his impending move.
What transpired between Adam Schefter and Aaron Rodgers?
The narrative started when Adam attempted to break a news story on Rodgers following his trade to the Jets. This reporter claims that he did not mean to text Rodgers right away and that, instead, he asked Dianna Russini’s permission before messaging Rodgers.
I call the Jets, I call the Pack, I call Rodgers’ advisers. No one’s saying anything. So, I’m sitting there on the set with Dianna Russini. “Should I text Rodgers?” She said, “Yeah, text him.”
As this analyst texted Aaron, this 39 years quarterback’s response was something explosive.

‘At 3:35, I texted him. I say, basically: “Have you informed the Jets that you’d like to play there? I wanted to open it up to you.” He didn’t respond for maybe 10 minutes. So then I called the number, got sent to voice mail. Then he texts me, “Lose my number. Good try tho.”
Aaron’s actions, however, greatly irritated this senior reporter, who then shared the quarterback’s response. Schefter claims that it is his duty to find out about the most recent, pertinent news in the sports world and that he has no intention of getting in touch with any player about a private matter.
The heated conversation got some flare as Rodgers was intercepted by Kerby Joseph leading to loss of 20-16 against the Detroit Lions. The fans and pundits are considering this is to be the final pass of the future Hall of Famer’s career the Packers needed to win to reach the playoffs.
If Schefter’s assertion is accurate, he may not absolutely be in the wrong in this situation as he is acting in this way because of his line of work. Yet, Aaron’s attitude to this situation is undoubtedly going to disappoint his supporters as he even failed to win in his final match.
