The Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill had a chance to join the Cleveland Browns, and he unexpectedly claimed it at an autograph session.
He joined the Dolphins last year after spending six years with the Kansas City Chiefs, but the story could have been different. Tyreek Hill was traded to Miami for a 2022 first-round pick, a 2022 second-round pick, two fourth-round picks, and a 2023 sixth-round pick. It’s a costly number of draft picks that the Browns couldn’t afford.
However, the star WR claimed something different when a Browns fan expressed his desire to see him in the brown and orange jersey. “They should’ve paid me; I tried to come to Cleveland. I tried, but they didn’t want me,” he braggingly said about his worth.

With this exaggerated brag, the NFL community thinks the Dolphins star might have played himself too much by claiming his worth.
How did the fans react to Tyreek Hill?
Some fans are not buying the claim of the 29-year-old, and they don’t think his value would be that high. One fan wrote, “Y’all believe anything, lol. Dude wanted to play for Miami only.”

Some of them put forth the original situation and described the Browns’ inability to sign for that many picks.
Hopefully he’s joking lol but unfortunately we didn’t have enough draft capital to land Hill. Unless they would have taken our 2025 first round pick

Didn’t have the draft picks

Meanwhile some others called him a liar.
Lie of the century.

It’s true that the Browns couldn’t afford another expensive athlete like the seven-time Pro Bowler after they invested so much after bringing Deshaun Watson in. The Browns fans would go bonkers if Hill joined the franchise, but he chose the Dolphins to prove his worth.
That’s why the fans became pissed off with such obnoxious acclamation and blamed the franchise for not pursuing him. Moreover, they blame him for being greedy at that time and refusing the Browns.
