With the constant controversy going on about Denver Broncos safety Kareem Jackson, it seems like NFL has finally paid heed to concerns expressed by fans about the safety. The Denver Broncos are going to be short of one player for the next few games for a suspension that has long been due.
NFL has imposed suspension on Kareem Jackson, the safety for Denver Broncos due to his unnecessary aggressive hits on players that led to two consecutive ejections.
NFL suspends Broncos’ S Kareem Jackson for illegal hits
Broncos safety, Kareem Jackson has been spotted taking illicit hit on players during matches that led to concussion, and the Broncos’ safety was consequently imposed with ejections. This approach is also a breach of one of the NFL’s Rule No. 12, Article 9 (b)(1), Section 2, as stated by Jon Runyan, the NFL’s Vice President of Football Operations.
Thus, NFL announced Kareem Jackson’s suspension this Monday. This means he has to sit out the upcoming Broncos matches scheduled against the Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, Minnesota Vikings, and Cleveland Browns. According to reports, after Vontaze Burfict and Myles Garrett in 2019, this is the longest suspension in 2023 for breaching a safety protocol in NFL.

The Vice President said, “It is a foul if a player forcibly hits the defenseless player’s head or neck area with the helmet, facemask, forearm, or shoulder, even if the initial contact is lower than the player’s neck, and regardless of whether the defensive player also uses his arms to tackle the defenseless player by encircling or grasping him.”
As Runyan former offensive tackle he lacks the understanding that a defensive back tends to fastest and very physical during the match. This could be a point of debate for Kareem Jackson as he is on the process of appealing to the league’s decision.
NFL communities’ reaction to Kareem Jackson’s illegal hits
Denver Broncos, veteran safety, Kareem Jackson’s suspension is not evidently new because prior to the Green Bay’s tight end Lukas Musgrave, wide receiver Jakobi Meyers from the Las Vegas Raiders was a victim for Jackson’s hits.
Fans had been infuriated over the constant injuries from the illegal and unnecessary roughness delivered by Jackson.
Kareem Jackson should not allowed to play in the NFL. Dirty hits to the head weeks two weeks in a row isn’t a coincidence.

Really hope Logan Thomas and Jakobi Meyers are okay and recover as soon as possible. 🙏

However, Kareem’s supporters did not take the suspension well and they had a lot to say about the NFL’s decision.
Shit is laughable! This hit can’t be any cleaner!

Btw, Jack is far from a dirty player by any means. Y’all got mf’s in the hall of fame that made it by knocking the shit out people, and yall praise them for it. Make it make sense. https://t.co/yFSL9NYTn9
Following his foul moves towards Logan Thomas and Jakobi Meyers, other fans constantly urged for Kareem’s suspension.
Kareem Jackson has been fined four times this season for illegal hits to the head and just got flagged for another. At some point the NFL is going to stop fining and start suspending.
