Brandin Cooks is a veteran player with six 1000-yard seasons under his belt and this could an exemplary fact of why every team could use a player like him. Cooks seems to be out on the market since the end of last season. There were rumors that he would be traded during the offseason before agreeing to a two-year contract deal with Houston in April. Cooks agreed to a two-year contract extension with Houston that includes a fully guaranteed $18 million base salary for next season. Despite the fact that Houston is his fourth NFL stop, Cooks has been a good gamble for 1,000 yards and 75-plus catches regardless of his location or quarterback.
The Los Angeles Rams and New York Giants are two possible options for the veteran wideout, who has had a poor start to the 2022 season due to the Texans’ offensive struggles. Teams interested in signing Cooks are unlikely to know how far he has regressed unless a contract is signed.
