Nia Jax, a former star of WWE, made an unexpected appearance on RAW. After seven years with WWE, she was dismissed in 2021. In this year’s Royal Rumble bout, she entered at the very end and was one of the last women eliminated.
Rodriguez lost in Ripley’s title defense bout due to Jax’s interference. The audience believed Jax had been supporting the champion throughout the match, but to everyone’s surprise, when the bell rang, Jax shocked both the fans and Ripley by launching an attack with a headbutt, a leg drop on the apron, and a Banzai Drop.

No one can say what kind of plans Triple H has in mind for Rhea Ripley, Raquel Rodriguez, and Nia Jax if she will return to WWE. This marked the first time in a while that the young champion had faced such a formidable opponent.

Rhea Ripley retains her WWE Women’s World Championship vs Raquel Rodriguez on RAW
On ‘WWE Raw’ at the Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia, Ripley defended her WWE Women’s World Championship against Raquel Rodriguez. Due to his prior involvement at Payback, Dominik Mysterio was not allowed ringside for this bout.
Rodriguez exuded confidence as she entered the battle, stating that she intended to give the champion a formidable fight. She also noted that, unlike other women, Ripley had not physically confronted her before the match.
Raquel maintained a dominant presence throughout the entire match. Briefly distracted by Jax’s return to WWE, the referee’s attention allowed Ripley to secure victory through a pinfall with a Riptide. Just as Rodriguez was on the verge of victory, Jax delivered a Samoan drop outside the ring.
