Nikola Jokic Nearly Nails Full-Court Shot in Nuggets’ Victory Over Lakers

In their most recent match against the Los Angeles Lakers, the Denver Nuggets failed to secure their 11th victory of the season, losing 10-6 to Nikola Jokic’s Nuggets. They won dominantly by 25 points, improving their record to 9-6.

Obviously, Nikola Jokic’s 30+ points is one of the highlights of the match, but his tremendous showcase of skills with a full-court shot showed what type of domination they had over the Lakers.

Jokic finished the game with an impressive stat line, contributing 34 points, 13 rebounds, and 8 assists. His performance was a key factor in the Nuggets’ dominant second-half performance, during which they outscored the Lakers 70-39.

With just 0.3 seconds left in the third quarter, Jokic received a lob pass from Peyton Watson and attempted his first-ever one-handed shot from near the half-court line. Then, the almost full-court shot has been called one of the season’s most memorable moments by many.

Nikola Jokic, a three-time MVP, led the Nuggets to their first NBA title in 2022-23. He boasts a 13-1 record against the Lakers, averaging 27.7 points, 14.2 rebounds, and 10.5 assists with impressive shooting stats.
