In his entire football career, Aaron Rodgers has played for only one team, the Green Bay Packers. However, following the team’s humiliating defeat in the NFL’s last week against the Lions, Rodgers was bashed by the fans for his statements earlier in the tournament. Throughout the season, the quarterback bragged about his game and how he plans to play in the Super Bowl.
The Lions fans did not waste their opportunity to laugh at the Packers quarterback. Afterward, Rodgers seemed depressed yet returned to his life uncertain about his future. His uncertainty was intensified by himself when he announced that he was looking for another team but would not represent San Francisco.
The Green Bay team is always open for Aaron. So, they did not even give their star quarterback any deadline to make a call, whether he would stay or go into free agency. Nonetheless, Rodgers was not feeling like himself and announced a strange event on “The Pat McAfee Show” on Valentine’s day.
What did Aaron Rodgers announce?
On “The Pat McAfee Show,” Aaron Rodgers announced that he would stay in the “darkness”—a room in Sky Cave Retreats to figure out his future. While giving his grand announcement, the quarterback said he would stay in the darkness for four days and four nights.
The time frame that Aaron mentioned has passed a week earlier. The quarterback has definitely left the underground room, and Sky Cave Retreats owner Scott Berman now confirms it.
The owner also described the form factor of the room Rodgers was staying at. It was a 300-square-foot room with a queen-sized bed, a bathroom, and a meditation mat. Although the room is called “darkness,” it does have lights that can be switched on and off from the inside.
With Aaron out of the room, fans might expect some decisions from the Packers quarterback. Will Rodgers stay or go into free agency? Only Aaron knows. Stay tuned for more Aaron Rodgers updates!
