The Kansas City Chiefs just won their second Super Bowl in four years, and credit goes to Patrick Mahomes for his exceptional leadership and quarterback skills. The Chiefs were down and out at halftime as the Eagles led the match 24-14. Most people thought Mahomes, with his Chiefs, would be unable to cross the line.

On top of everything, Patrick was injured with a sprained ankle. Even as the second quarter was coming to an end with a minute and thirty-nine seconds remaining in the quarter, Mahomes ran with all his pace only to be leg-pulled by T. J. Edwards. Afterward, Patrick was spotted suffering in immense pain.
However, despite his injured ankle, Patrick Mahomes did not give up and led his team to their second Super Bowl victory in four years.
What made the difference between Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts?
Looking at the scorecard, everyone will agree that Jalen Hurts played his heart out and was fighting a lone battle. Hurts scored four touchdowns compared to Mahomes’s three. However, Eagles fans must admit that Patrick was superb in scoring those three touchdowns with his injured ankle.
Mahomes was struggling with his injury in the final quarter. Yet with two minutes and forty-six seconds to go, he put the Chiefs on top, rushing to the fifteen-yard mark. He could have gone further if Kyzir Rasim White did not stop him. White also targeted Mahomes’s injured ankle and pulled his leg.
At the end of the day, the Kansas City Chiefs emerged and lifted the Vince Lombardi Trophy because of Patrick’s fabulous gameplay and planning. With one and a half minutes to play, the Chiefs could have easily scored their game-sealing touchdown. Yet they did not do so, as that would have given the Eagles time to come back into the game and score the equalizer.
So, hats off to Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs’ game plan. Kansas City stalled their time and took the game down to the wire. Chiefs scored their winning points as Harrison Bukter kicked with just eleven seconds remaining in the game.
No wonder Patrick became the MVP, and now to put the icing on top of the cake has won the Super Bowl. They deserved to be the champions being the better side. Congratulations to Patrick Mahomes for putting on the thrilling contest and emerging as the victor of the Super Bowl.
