After enjoying a lavish party in Las Vegas, the QB then visited Germany where he met many famous people, including the Liverpool coach.
Patrick Mahomes’ chance encounter with Jurgen Klopp
The Kansas City Chiefs superstar, Patrick Mahomes, recently met Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp. During his visit to Germany, the QB went to the headquarters of his official supplier, Adidas, where Klopp was also present.
Along with Klopp, Mahomes also met South Africa captain Siya Kolisi and Adidas CEO Bjorn Gulden. Siya Kolisi shared the pictures on social media where Mahomes and Klopp posed together. The pictures went viral on social media, with many fans loving this unexpected interaction.
Gulden also posted the photo on social media after the meeting, captioning, “One of the best ever…. Patrick Mahomes visiting HQ! Not only a fantastic athlete but also a very very nice guy! Thanks for coming… it is an honor to work with you!”
The QB has been with Adidas since he was drafted in 2017 and Jurgen Klopp signed with Adidas in 2020. They were finally spotted together on this recent trip to Germany.
Patrick Mahomes owns multiple soccer teams
Patrick Mahomes, known for his interest in various sports, has invested $125 million in the NWSL team, the Kansas City Current. Additionally, he owns a portion of the MLS team, Sporting Kansas City.
Mahomes now has ownership stakes in all of Kansas City’s professional sports teams except the Chiefs. Recently, he became a part owner of the KC Current in the NWSL, joining his wife Brittany Mahomes, and asset managers Angie and Chris Long.
“I am thankful for the chance to join (Brittany Mahomes) as part of the (KC Current) ownership team. She and the Longs have done an incredible job building a world-class organization, and I am excited to join another championship-caliber club as it continues to make history,” he said on Twitter.
Mahomes further expanded his sports franchise ownership by joining the ownership group of Sporting Kansas City. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to strengthen his connection to the city and support soccer’s growth in Kansas City.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to join Sporting Kansas City’s ownership team and strengthen my connection to the fans and the city I love,” Mahomes said.
