At only 27 years old, star Patrick Mahomes has made significant progress in the National Football League. The quarterback recently won his second Super Bowl trophy after helping the Kansas City Chiefs defeat the Philadelphia Eagles in a dramatic comeback.
He attributes a lot of his success on the field to his wife, as well as to his growing family that he is creating with Brittany. He recently claimed that having Brittany relieves him of a lot of his responsibilities. She helps him concentrate on the game & stay focused.
He claimed that being close to wonderful people, in general, had also given him the freedom to be himself. Which also seems to draw many NFL fans closer to him. Mahomes claimed that with Brittany’s assistance and the support of his loved ones, he has been able to be the seemingly ‘unchanged guy’ he always has been.
Mahomes acknowledges wife Brittany’s impact
In a conversation with People’s Magazine, Mahomes discussed Brittany and how his wife helps him manage his daily life. Despite the seemingly overwhelming amount of responsibilities, Brittany described Mahomes as “the best father ever,”
Mahomes, 27, first met his future wife while attending Whitehouse High School. They remained together for two years while Mahomes attended Texas Tech. They remained partners during the move to the NFL, and on the day he got his first Super Bowl title ring, Mahomes proposed to Brittany at an executive suite at the Chiefs’ Arrowhead Stadium.
They are now married and have two kids; they reside in a massive home outside of Kansas City. Sterling Skye, their first child, was born in February 2021. The couple got married in Hawaii’s Maui last year. Then Patrick Lavone III, known as “Bronze,” was born eight months later.

Mahomes is one of the best players to ever play for the Kansas City Chiefs. Mahomes, who entered as one of the team’s most promising young players, has not disappointed as even recently he helped the Chiefs win Super Bowl 2023, giving them a third championship.

The Chiefs selected Mahomes in the 2017 NFL Draft, and by 2018, he was their go-to starter. He won the championship alongside the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowls LIV and LVII in 2020 and 2023, respectively. Mahomes won the Super Bowl MVP title on both occasions, capping off two successful Super Bowl runs.
Mahomes has had five Pro Bowl games since 2018, and he looks to be on the right track to becoming one of the best quarterbacks in the history of the sport.
