Patrick Mahomes Sr and John Rocker’s Bourbon Street Altercation Leads to Explosive Twitter Argument

The Super Bowl may have ended four days ago, but the excitement of Super Bowl week is far from over. With three more days to go, the NFL community has already witnessed plenty of drama.

And just when things seemed to settle, a new controversy took center stage—an intense clash between Patrick Mahomes Sr. and former MLB star John Rocker.

A heated argument broke out between former MLB pitcher John Rocker and Patrick Mahomes Sr., the father of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, on Bourbon Street in New Orleans during Super Bowl week. The incident, caught on video, quickly spread across social media.

In the video, Rocker approaches Mahomes Sr. and tries to start a conversation. Things almost got physical, but bystanders stepped in to calm the situation. However, the tension didn’t end there.

Rocker later took to Twitter to insult Mahomes Sr., calling him a “loser” and saying he wished he had knocked him out. He even took a shot at Patrick Mahomes Jr after the Chiefs’ Super Bowl loss, stating, “Patrick Mahomes sucks.”

The 50-year-old former MLB player didn’t stop there. He also posted other rude comments about Mahomes and even made an inappropriate remark about NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.

Patrick Mahomes Sr responds to John Rocker’s heated tweet

Seeing back-to-back lame words from John Rocker on Twitter, Mahomes Sr. could not hold himself to dirty his hands on Twitter. Mahomes Sr. told Rocker to “keep my name out of your loud mouth” and suggested that Rocker hasn’t changed in the last 25 years.

He also added, “John Rocker is a menace to society.” The incident serves as a reminder of how quickly events can escalate and the lasting impact of past behaviors on present interactions
